🩺 Holding Steady Through the Strain – June 30, 2025

🌅 Morning Check-In I woke up dizzy, full-on vertigo 🤢, so I stayed in bed and took my meds. I’m almost certain I skipped my blood-pressure pill because my heart went wild later. Lesson logged. 📟 Heart & Glucose Apple Watch pinged me three times while I was sitting quietly: 102–108 bpm at 4:41 PM, 101–107 bpm at 5:57 PM, 99–105 bpm at 6:31 PM 💓 CGM line stayed calm 📈, just a gentle bump after lunch, then coasting in the green zone all evening. No hypos, no scary spikes. 💊 Supplement & Med Stack ✅ All the usual suspects 🚫 GLP-1 Activate (I’ve ditched it, zero benefit) 🚫 NeuroGum ❓ BP med, probably missed 🥗 Macros (MyFitnessPal) Carbs 174 g, Sugar 80 g Protein 130 g Fat 36 g Fiber 18 g 🙌, so the carbs didn’t slam my blood sugar 📊 Welltory Snapshot Stress 80 % 😤 Energy 39 % 🔋 Health 100 % 🛡️ HRV 20 % ↘️ Coherence 0 % My body ran on fight-or-flight all day, yet it never crashed. That’s resilience at work. 📝 What Today Taught Me Vertigo plus missed meds equals ta...

Crashing from Carbs: How Skipped Meals & Sugar Spiked My Stress – A Data-Driven Health Check (June 12, 2025)

Today’s numbers tell the story of a body running on fumes and a nervous system that’s been working overtime to keep things afloat. 📊 Metrics Summary Glucose:  119 mg/dL (in range, stable) HRV Score:  12% ⬇️ – very low variability Stress:  81% ⬇️ – taxing, with sympathetic dominance (fight-or-flight) Energy:  25% ⬆️ – still low, but improved from earlier Health:  45% ⬆️ – vulnerable but trending better Focus:  44% ⬆️ – limited, not sharp Coherence:  53% ⬇️ – average, slight drop Nervous System Balance: Sympathetic: 50 | Parasympathetic: 10 → My body leaned hard into “go mode” all day. Rest-and-digest didn’t stand a chance. 🍽 Nutrition Breakdown (Logged via MyFitnessPal) Total Calories:  1,522 (Goal: 1,650) Protein:  78g (Short by 71g) Carbs:  229g (Over by 101g) Sugar:  155g (Over by 106g) Fiber:  8g (Short by 13g) Fat:  38g (Under by 28g) ➡️ Only calories logged were from  breakfast (46%) and snacks (54%) ...

🧬 Monday, June 9, 2025 – A Puffier Day in the System, But Glucose Stayed Sharp

Today was one of those “my face looks like it’s storing acorns” kind of mornings. I woke up visibly swollen—my rings didn’t fit, and my face was rounder than usual. This is a familiar sign of a Hashimoto’s flare for me, and paired with some autonomic imbalance and lower energy, it pretty much confirmed what my body was already whispering. 📉  Glucose & Metabolic Data (Libre 3 CGM) Midday Glucose:  106 mg/dL → Stable No overnight lows or post-meal spikes ✅ Glucose remained in the green zone all day—even with elevated sugar intake. 🧠  Welltory + Apple Watch Vitals Stress / Energy / Health ⏰  12:42 PM:  60% / 41% / 100% ⏰  9:19 PM:  82% / 27% / 100% ⚠️  Evening stress surged to 82% while energy dropped to 27%  — definitely evidence of a system that stayed in overdrive all day. But health resilience held at 100%, showing my body is compensating well, just working hard to do it. 🔁  Nervous System Balance AM:  SNS 31 / PSNS 28...

May 26, 2025 – Health Metrics Summary

Image
Metrics Overview: Stress:  Dropped steadily throughout the day, ending at 37% (light) Energy:  Peaked late in the day at 98% (plenty) Health:  Held strong all day at 100% (resilient) HRV Score:  Ended on a high note—100%, reflecting excellent nervous system adaptability Glucose:  Dipped to 63 mg/dL at 2:05 PM—an unexpected hypoglycemic episode. The rest of the day remained stable between 85–100 mg/dL Nervous System Balance:  Strong parasympathetic dominance by evening (15 SNS / 100 PSNS), ideal for wind-down and recovery Key Notes: Despite a moderate start to the day energy-wise, my stats climbed as the day progressed, leaving me fully charged by evening. My HRV rebounded beautifully, hitting a perfect 100%—a strong marker of resilience and recovery capacity. That said, I did experience a sudden hypoglycemic dip at 2:05 PM (63 mg/dL) which came out of the blue. It was brief but reminded me how crucial it is to stay ahead of fueling and manage macronu...

5-14-25 Stable Glucose, Shaky System: My Body’s Plot Twist Today

Image
Last night I got decent sleep—over 6 hours—with a boost in deep and REM sleep that pushed my SleepWatch score to 448. While that was encouraging, I still woke up running on low battery. My morning HRV was just  34% , with  energy at 16% , and a  medium stress load (66%) . My  health resilience was maxed at 100% , but I could feel the disconnect between my body’s strength and my brain’s sluggishness. My glucose started off well at  105 mg/dL , holding steady for most of the day—until around 5:15 PM when I dropped to  62 mg/dL , triggering a hypoglycemia alert. I corrected it quickly, but it was a sharp dip and definitely contributed to the shakiness and low energy I’d been sensing. By  evening , my HRV cratered to just  5% , and my nervous system flipped into full  sympathetic dominance (53 SNS vs. 10 PSNS) . Stress hit  86% , and energy crept up only slightly to  21% . Focus dipped throughout the day as well, ending at a modes...
