September 24, 2025 VERTIGO again

Vertigo. Again. No matter how much progress I make or how disciplined I am, it still finds a way to knock me down and remind me that my body isn’t fully in my control. It’s not just dizziness—it’s a pain in the neck, literally and figuratively. I can do everything “right” and still end up feeling like I’m standing on shaky ground. 📊 Glucose This morning’s Libre 3 Plus readings stayed between  111–116 mg/dL . Smooth overnight curve, steady, no wild swings. By the numbers, this should be a solid day. But here’s the catch: reactive hypoglycemia doesn’t always play by the numbers, and even when glucose is steady, my nervous system can send my head into a spin. That disconnect is one of the most frustrating parts—it feels like my body is gaslighting me. 😴 Sleep Sleep was a mess. Out of  5 hours and 19 minutes in bed , I got just  3 hours and 52 minutes of real sleep . Only  56% efficiency , and it felt like I never fully rested. Too many awakenings, shallow cycle...

🗓️ Saturday, June 29-Sun 30th, 2025 Running on Fumes, But Built to Last

I clocked in a fantastic night of sleep—9 hours and 28 minutes in bed with 8 hours and 21 minutes of solid rest. My sleep quality came in at 96%, with over 5 hours combined in REM and deep stages. That’s the kind of recovery sleep I wish I could bottle up and save for Mondays. Despite that great start, today felt like I was walking with a quiet weight on my back. By evening, my Welltory stress hit  79%  and my energy dipped to  28% , even though my health score stayed rock solid at  100%  all day. The stress spike seems to tie in with the emotional weight of heading back into that toxic work environment tomorrow. I can feel it in my body before I’ve even clocked in. My glucose stayed stable for most of the day, with just a moderate post-meal spike around dinner. No crashes, which is always a win in my book. Nutrition-wise, I hit  1,602 calories  out of my 1,650 goal. Macros were a bit off-balance: Protein:  86g (short 58g) Carbs:  174g ...

Why I Added Happy Saffron Plus to My Routine (and What My Metrics Reveal)

Image
Over the past month, I’ve woven BrainMD’s Happy Saffron Plus into my morning stack—and let me tell you, the data don’t lie. This blend of affron® saffron extract, Longvida® curcumin, and zinc glycinate was designed to lift mood, dial down stress, and sharpen mental clarity. Here’s how it’s played out in my Welltory dashboard and daily life. Why It Stood Out Clinically Researched Doses:  Three capsules deliver 30 mg of saffron (standardized for mood-boosting compounds), 400 mg of highly absorbable curcumin, and 20 mg of zinc in a gentle glycinate form.  I take TWO capsules. Clean Formula:  No gluten, dairy, corn, eggs, yeast, or artificial additives—so it slides right into a sensitive system without a fuss. Synergy Bonus:  I’ve been pairing it with my fish-oil supplement each evening, and that combo seems to amplify the calm focus throughout the next day. How I Use It Each morning between breakfast and my 22-minute walk, I pop two capsules with a glass of water. Then...
