June 18 – Metrics Blog: From Burnout to Recovery Mode ๐Ÿ’ฅ➡️๐ŸŒฟ

Woke up this morning knowing something was off—and my metrics confirmed it. At  7:47 AM , stress was already at  59% ๐Ÿ˜ฌ , energy was dragging at  35% ๐Ÿชซ , and although my  health resilience was 100% ๐ŸŸข , my  HRV was only 24% ๐Ÿ“‰ , which explained the low stamina. I chalked it up to cumulative system strain, probably from trying to push through earlier in the week without giving myself enough recovery time. By  1:44 PM , things had taken a sharper turn. My  stress spiked to 97% ๐Ÿ”ฅ , energy dropped to  12% ⚠️ , and coherence took a hit at  35% ๐Ÿคฏ . HRV tanked at  1% ๐Ÿงจ , and my nervous system was stuck in full sympathetic overdrive ๐Ÿƒ‍♀️๐Ÿ’จ. Brain fog kicked in, and I knew right away that decision-making and mental focus were compromised. Welltory even warned me to postpone anything important—and it wasn’t wrong. But the twist? Despite that crash,  my health resilience stayed rock solid at 100% ๐Ÿงฌ  all day. That’s not nothing...

June 18 – Wellness Check-In (Morning vs. Afternoon)

June 18 – Wellness Check-In (Morning vs. Afternoon) Morning Metrics – 7:47 AM Stress: 59% – Moderate Energy: 35% – Low, but manageable Health: 100% – Resilient HRV (Heart Rate Variability): 24% – Suboptimal Summary: You started your day with decent physiological stability. Stress was elevated but not overwhelming, and although your energy was on the lower side, your body’s resilience was at its peak. This was a green-light window for light productivity or movement. Afternoon Metrics – 1:44 PM Stress: 97% – Very High (Distress zone) Energy: 12% – Critical Shortage Focus: 17% – Severely impaired Coherence: 35% – Low (lack of sync between heart, lungs, brain) HRV Score: 1% – Extremely Low (ANS overload) SNS/PSNS Balance: 60 SNS vs. 10 PSNS – Overactivation of sympathetic “fight-or-flight” mode Key Insight from Welltory: You’re in a state of high physiological strain. Your brain and body are burning through reserves much faster than you’re restoring them....

๐ŸŒ€ Sunday Check-In: Rainy Walks, Superhero Dreams & Nervous System Wins

Image
๐Ÿ“… Date:  June 15, 2025 ๐Ÿ“ Location:  Central New Jersey ๐ŸŒง️ Weather:  Cool, rainy, peaceful ๐Ÿง  Mood:  Grounded, calm, and fully content ☀️ Morning Reflection I spent the day in Central Jersey, where I stay about half the week. The weather was moody—cool and rainy—but that didn’t stop me from getting out for  two walks , including a peaceful loop through  Colonial Park , which always resets me mentally. Last night’s sleep was solid, but the  dreams were something else . I’m in  week 147 on Tirzepatide , and I’ve definitely noticed a trend with increasingly vivid REM cycles. Last night’s were full-on  superhero mode —not bad dreams, just chaotic, detailed, and fast-paced. My subconscious was on a mission. ๐Ÿ“Š Morning vs. Evening Metrics What started as a lower-energy, high-stress morning completely reversed by early evening. My body flipped into full parasympathetic recovery, and the numbers backed it up: I didn’t nap, overdo it, or stre...

๐Ÿ”ข  Glucose & Hypoglycemia Recap Today was another rollercoaster day in glucose management. I experienced  multiple confirmed hypoglycemic drops —the lowest reaching  53 mg/dL at 8:58 PM . Logged low glucose events: 2:58 AM — 63 mg/dL 2:23 PM — 63 mg/dL 8:00 PM — 64 mg/dL 8:27 PM — 54 mg/dL 8:58 PM — 53 mg/dL These episodes came despite balanced meals, suggesting  reactive hypoglycemia , possibly from timing mismatches between meals, digestion, and hormonal insulin response. I also did  not take Neuro Gum  today, which often helps buffer fatigue-related cognitive dips. ⌚  Apple Watch HRV Snapshot Earlier Reading (5:16 PM): Stress: 45% Energy: 77% Health: 100% Later Reading (9:02 PM): Stress: 93% Energy: 32% Health: 100% This confirms what I felt internally: I had  plenty of momentum early in the day , but stress and glucose dips by evening created a  major crash , which my body worked hard to bounce back from. ๐Ÿงฌ Apple Watch HRV Sn...

May 25, 2025 – High Coherence? Nope. High Resilience? Absolutely. I’m a tough cookie

Metrics Overview: Stress:  Dropped from 24% in the morning to 48% by evening — still within a normal and manageable range Energy:  Started at 62%, tapered to 59% — average overall, with signs of strategic conservation Health Index:  Held strong at 100% all day — resilient and stable Focus:  84% sharp — brain stayed online despite glucose and coherence challenges HRV:  Fluctuated from 79% (high) earlier to 33% (low) by night Coherence:  Climbed from 8% to 32% throughout the day — still low but trending up Nervous System Balance: Midday: 100 PSNS / 22 SNS (parasympathetic dominant) Evening: 62 SNS / 34 PSNS (tilted toward sympathetic) These two systems form the autonomic nervous system (ANS), which regulates everything your body does automatically — heart rate, digestion, recovery, inflammation, etc. The  PSNS (parasympathetic nervous system)  is your  rest-and-digest  mode — it’s what allows your body to recover, regenerate, and st...
