🔥 What I Use to Make Great Coffee Without a Machine




 

1. Portable Electric Kettle

As long as you have a plug, you can boil water anywhere. This kettle heats fast, doesn’t leak, and is compact enough to toss in a bag. I use it daily — it’s the unsung hero of this whole setup.

2. Espro Portable French Press

This is how I make the actual coffee. The Espro press is compact, spill-proof, and filters out the grit. I’ve used it at home, on road trips, even outdoors — no coffee maker required.

3. Fire Department Coffee Grounds

This roast is bold, smooth, and strong — just how I like it. It brews beautifully in the French press without tasting overdone or bitter.

4. Zulay Milk Frother

This little thing takes my coffee to the next level. It froths in seconds and works with all kinds of milk. Makes your morning mug feel like a fancy coffee shop latte.

🗓️ Saturday, June 29-Sun 30th, 2025 Running on Fumes, But Built to Last

 I clocked in a fantastic night of sleep—9 hours and 28 minutes in bed with 8 hours and 21 minutes of solid rest. My sleep quality came in at 96%, with over 5 hours combined in REM and deep stages. That’s the kind of recovery sleep I wish I could bottle up and save for Mondays. Despite that great start, today felt like I was walking with a quiet weight on my back. By evening, my Welltory stress hit  79%  and my energy dipped to  28% , even though my health score stayed rock solid at  100%  all day. The stress spike seems to tie in with the emotional weight of heading back into that toxic work environment tomorrow. I can feel it in my body before I’ve even clocked in. My glucose stayed stable for most of the day, with just a moderate post-meal spike around dinner. No crashes, which is always a win in my book. 🧨 Friday, July 5 – Post-Fourth Reset & Breakthrough Check-In 🎇 END of the 10 month rollercoaster and “STALL"

I've had losing phases over the last 10 months, but they were always short-lived, frustratingly inconsistent, and often followed by rebounds. The backstory matters: last September, my doctor had to lower my dose of tirzepatide from 12.5 mg to 7.5 mg—not because of blood sugar meds (I don’t take any), but due to repeated  reactive hypoglycemia  episodes. That’s a rare side effect, especially for someone who isn’t diabetic. We couldn’t find 10 mg at the time, so we dropped to 7.5—and it completely backfired. I gained, my inflammation returned, and I felt like I was trapped in my own body again. Eventually, I pushed to try 10 mg again.
